Devastating news for a heartthrob. David Beckham is likely to be out for a minimum of five months after tearing his Achilles tendon playing for AC Milan against Chievo. AC Milan have confirmed that David Beckham has broken his left Achilles tendon, and will be out for a minimum of three months, thus ending his Serie A season and ruling him out of the World Cup unless his recovery takes an extra positive turn.

According to Sky Sport news Beckham is currently on his way to Finland for an operation, he should arrive at around 2pm, the surgeon expects Beckham to be out for around 5 months. This is really a shattering news for the highly acclaimed professional player considering that this will be his final world cup.

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao once again did not fail his fans and fellow Pinoys for winning a unanimous decision over Clottey on 12 rounds. 51,000 amusers flooded the Cowboy stadium and cheered for the real star of the night. There is no doubt that Pacquiao is dominating the passive Joshua Clottey.

Some people in Dallas are now thinking that if only Clottey would have thrown his heavy punches there could have been a different result but he must have forgotten and became over defensive. Clottey almost never took his defense down and never gambled on fighting with Manny on the ring. On the 10th round Manny took Joshua's strong punches seriously but easily recovered on the next round. Clottey managed to threw successful punches but they are not enough to bring "Pacman" down. Clottey's team thought that they could tire Manny until the 12th round but of course that word is not in people's champ dictionary. In some angle you could think that this African boxer just gave the fight away when he felt the Filipino fighter's fast moving power punches from the very beginning and there's no other way but to keep his guard up.

Manny's mother came out of the prayer room right after the fight and so thankful to God for all the blessings on winning the fight.
Nanay Dionisia says that she doesn't want anything from Manny when he comes back to the Philippines but only for his son to fullfill her wishes to stop from boxing and leave the ring for good.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is now looking forward to fight "Pacman"....again. Manny is even ready to fight either Floyd or Mosley who ever wins on the next event.

NASCAR's governing body announced new rules for the 2010 season that encouraged drivers to show more emotion to re-energize a sport seen by some as growing stale.

Drivers Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski took those rules to heart, as anyone watching them race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway Sunday can attest.

An entertaining and enlightening movie. The Hurt Locker is a 2008 American war film that follows a United States Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team during the Iraq War.

This film, The Hurt Locker, had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival last September 4, 2008, and received a 10-minute standing ovation at the end of its screening. It  was one of the most acclaimed films of 2009, earning awards and honors from numerous organizations, festivals and groups. It was nominated for nine Academy Awards and won six, including Best Picture and Best Director for Kathryn Bigelow, who became the first woman to win the award. It's her second Academy Award nomination. The film also swept the 2010 BAFTA Awards, winning best film, director, original screenplay, editing, cinematography and sound.

It was not too long ago when Sandra Bullock took home the Golden Raspberry statue as the worst actress for the movie " All About Steve". This Sunday, she wins the Best Actress in a Leading Role for the movie "The Blind Side". Her wit and humor has always moved me in every way. She applauds the mothers who take care of children regardless of their race, religion or wherever they come from in her most touching speech during the Oscar Awarding.

The Blind Side" depicts the story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. It's a very touching story that Sandra decided to do which also gave her the opportunity to show another person in her.

Singing "The Climb," in black with a red flower in her hair. Seems a bit flat, but no doubt a huge voice.I totally agree with the judge, I don't think she connected with the song and that she really can sing but the thing is, she has to feel it every time she sings. Like when you are happy, you sing, when you are sad, it's either you wanna sing or just want to here songs that you can relate to in your present situation or maybe in the past. Haeley knew the notes but there is something lacking when she sang "the Climb" the spirit of emotions. The song is full of struggles and strength just to reach the top. Miley Cyrus did a very good job singing that song and you can never think that she's smiling while doing the video, it's just not the right choice for Haeley.


Haeley Vaughn and Tori Kelly were the last two girls standing. One was going one and one will continue living the dream. The wannabe first black pop country singer got some amazing compliments from Simon Cowell and her uniqueness is what put her on American Idol's Season 9 Top 24.
